Yes, and since calling their customer support would be useless for this purpose, does anyone know anything about how service is rolled out across Ontario?
I am in rural Ontario and it's not available, but I have no sense whatsoever on if there is even a plan to expand it to cover me or not.

If not for Virgin, then how about Fido's home internet service (same question)?

is this a good deal? seems the speed is low but then maybe DSL is better than cable for some?

They use the Bell network. Should be pretty good.

Using Virgin instead of Bell = Using Fido instead of Rogers.
Fido wants $60 for unlimited...

doesn't seem cold at all...$50 plus tax all in for a 25/10 DSL with unlimited data isn't too bad. No mention on if there is the ability to do dry loop and if so how much it costs is my only worry.

except start.ca isn't free installation, and likely doesn't include a complimentary modem rental.

The CarryTel deal was $40/mth for unlimited and 50M speed, also used Bell network, so cold for me. http://carrytel.ca/

Non-published bonus for Virgin Mobile CELLULAR customers (not prepaid): Get three months home internet free. Anyone else should also be offered some level of welcoming bonus, YMMV.

Bell Canada internet customers can also used the Virgin Mobile internet rates to force Bell to price match -- yes, they are the same company, but not for billing purposes.

Instead of Bell's Home Hub 1000, Virgin has their "Steve" modem/router. I don't know how these compare, but I would guess similar performance.
