Bell/Virgin same customer lies. You will get screwed in the end.
Problem is that usually their service/product is excellent but customer service and billing errors are the worst of all suppliers in my opinion.
Not billing errors sometimes. The problem with BELL is there is no price guarantee... meaning that they can raise price anytime they want.

Fido has since jacked up their rates for new signups since that post.
Here we go again.
Wait till all the customers who signed up for earlier deal start leaving after bonus runs out ;what will they do then ?

how did you get the 100$ credit for sign-up ?
I went and talked to a rep at a Virgin kiosk in a mall and they told me they cant do it

is there a number to call or you have to wait for them to call you ?

after modem changed, ping lost is better, but still happening.

now, a new problem just come up, at night or during weekends, the download speed is reduced from 25MB to 5MB...

I am moving back to Bell.

They called to confirm installation 48 hours before. I told them that I'm hesitant because of a 100$ bill credit available elsewhere (not true, just made it up)...They matched it.

Good luck with Bell haha. You realize Virgin is the exact same fibre internet that bell is. Just sold under another name.

When you have your virgin installed, pls try:
1. run a continuous ping for at least 1 hour to google.com, cnn.com and see if you have any packet lost. --> I think Steve modem is not that stable like the Hub1000/2000/or 3000 from Bell.
2. run speedtest at 9PM, 10 PM, 11PM and see if you are getting 25Mb/s or 10 or 5... --> during the day, speed is good at 25 all the time, at night, it goes down to 5, or 10 sometimes. when i was with Bell, it was 25 all the time..
