BB/FS has their own tab system, rcss is the same as the virgin mobile store. So they can't price match for u for the tab. Make sure check before u sign the paper, i got screw up before.

The Samsung Galaxy W can be used on both networks, from what I understand.

Couldn't compare with the BB deal 2 weeks ago. I think you guys should wait till boxing week rather than jump on these warm ones.

Man.. I just went there today to buy 2 Galaxy S2x's for the $100 - $100 GC + $150 tab + taxes deal. I regret it now, I want the Galaxy S2 instead...

Does anyone have proof of the RCSS sale for price-matching? Thanks!

How come? The phone IIx is a pentaband phone.
BTW, did they allow you to apply the $100 GC towards the cost of the phone?
Too bad RCSS isn't running a no-tax event like Loblaws.

Capitalize on no-tax event at Loblaws today guys. Just activated another S2X on Koodo at the Richmond Hill location. I was able to pay off the tab in-store so $250 with no tax and $100 GC. Going to call Koodo and switch it to prepaid.

How did you pay off the tab in store?

If someone can provide step by step approach to getting this, that would be great. I've heard a lot about these promotions but have some questions related to the process (i.e do I need to sign up for a plan as well or just pay off the tab and cancel right away etc)

S2 is an international version, and with that you get the associated benefits like more accessories and support online, it will be more marketable when the times comes to trade it in for a new phone. Also it's cheaper than the S2X to buy from Virgin! And faster too, although the S2X screen is bigger.
And yeah I paid $12 tax per phone in store only.
