Everything depends on the teacher. Some require you to log in daily for attendance marks or at specific times for live discussions while others don't care as long as deadlines are met. It's usually two or three assignments along with participating in a discussion per week. Online courses are extremely easy.

I've done virtual school with TDSB, online courses with Centennial, online adult school, and online University courses, and they all have roughly the same feel. The key, IMO, is to be consistent. GL.

Was it constant work with deadlines every day? Every week? And are you obliged to be consistently at your computer to do work?
Thank you so much!

I recently took an eLearning course last semester (Earth and Space Science) and the work was fairly easy, but the teacher expected assignments to be submitted before the deadline unless there is a legitimate excuse. All my work I've done on the course has been on computer except for the final exam, which was completed at my home school on paper. There are some assignments that are given the option to be completed on a poster or Bristol board and scanned or pictures taken of the assignment; but all of these assignments can be done on Photoshop and whatnot if you understand how to use the programs. The overall eLearning course was fairly easy, but students tend to not study and plagiarize which is a major issue and can result in punishments such as automatic zeroes and a permanent record. If I were you, I would make notes throughout the course because if you have a final exam, you will not be able to look at your notes such as the open-book quizzes and tests given throughout the duration of the course.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me!
