[VISA] TD Aeroplan Visa 25,000 Aeroplan Pts, First Year Free, $50 Rebate back

Not sure if this is allowed to be Posted?

GCR just added the TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite Card to their rebate list.

Usual Deal with 25,000 Aeroplan Pts with $1000 spent in first 3 months. 1 Year Fee Waived and $50 rebate if you apply through GCR.

Kinda Sucks because I just ordered one on Wednesday.. Got the 1st Year free but the extra $50 would of been a nice kicker.

I didn't post the link as I believe that isn't allowed but GCR Members will know where to look.

The link to apply for the TD card shows the last day to apply as Oct. 31, 2014. But there's a full page ad in Toronto Star that said it got extended to Nov. 14, 2014. So the web site hasn't been updated with the new date.

You could get away faster with a Welcome Bonus of 15,000 Aeroplan Miles with your first purchase and an additional 10,000 miles when you spend $1,000 in purchases on your Card within the first 90 days, plus no Annual Fee for the first year!

If I already have a TD VISA, and want to get this promo, applying will get me a 2nd VISA card or will I be able to just switch my main card to this one?

12,000 pts will give you $100 esso gift card. So 25K would be $200 gift card.

What is the minimum single/household income to qualify? Was considering the TD aeroplan visa platinum but there was no GCR or rate super market promo going on.

i got the letter from td about swtich my reward visa to aeroplan infinite...

they didnt mention about first year free.

so if they offer me first year free.. i woul like to get this card...

but my question is... can i swtich back to no annual fee card. within an year.. so i can save on those annual fee for 2nd year.

i dont use my credit card that much.. so its not worth to pay $120 per year in annual fees

For aeropeso, a ticket any where in N American, takes 25k points -- that's if you can find seat, and then also pay scamcharges. But if you find a carrier that doesn't have the scamcharges, it can also save some money.

Strange that it doesnt say anything about the 1st year fee waiver on td website but if you go through gcr it does clearly state that

Aeroplan points ... if you are flying transoceanic on business it worths quite a truckload of dollars :) 90k gets you to Europe and back; if you use United the taxes will be $300-ish -- in dollars that trip is at least 4500 (but easily can be 5500) or so. So each mile for me easily worths 5c.

There's a banner stating first year free, but in the important information they ask you to consent to, does say "$120 To be charged on the first statement after the Card is issued (regardless of activation) and annually thereafter in the same month."
