Since you own it, how do you find the remote?

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this one. very well rated and I'm due for an upgrade to 4k, atmos, dts x, hdr, newer hdmi and my old Sony just about done.
From what I can see only main difference between this (2016 model) and the 2400 is Atmos or DTS X, both of which are available for the 2300 as a firmware upgrade.

Will head down there this week and see if they have any left or just order online.

i bought the x1300 ($498) last week but i wouldnt mind an extra 15w

i have to drive 45 minutes to the nearest store so im curious if $520 would be offered at other visions.
of course it depends who youre dealing with but anyone else get some sort of in store price reduction?

(for my x1300 he threw in extended warranty)

Wowzers, don't bother. It adds video processing and the exact same amp. All they do is underrate the 1300.... You are paying extra for the video processing on the 2300.
Also even if it was an extra 15 watts, they would do nothing in terms of SPL. It would add .4 decibels to a 90dB sensitive speaker lol. So in other words, nothing.

Currently have the Denon AVR 1513 which I love, but this is super tempting for the price drop.

Convincing myself not to get it. *cries*

Have a question about the 2 HDMI outs in this. Could I have all my devices connected in and then output on HDMI 2 to the TV, and have TV output to the arc in on this for when I use the Netflix app on my tv?

Also it looks like this will output HDR signals from devices like PS4 or Xbox one. Can anyone confirm for me that it does?

Thanks in advance.

Picked one up here in Winnipeg. Asked what the lowest price they could do and I got it for $549.

A fair difference in inputs and outputs, Denon claim there is a difference in power supply and audio circuitry, if you believe it, and WhattheHifi claim the X2300w is a better sounding unit, again, if you believe it.

I have a Yamaha Aventage RX-A820. Would the X2300 be comparable? I'm looking for a receiver for a second room.

I've had the X2200W for less than a year. The center speaker out connector is defective and requires to be pushed up for sound to work. The subwoofer connector may also be bad, needs further testing to confirm. Otherwise, its been working well and more stable than my previous Onkyo.

Do note Denon's 185W spec is at 6 ohms 1ch. A more honest spec would be 8 ohms 2ch. Under this condition What Hifi mentions it's 95W/channel. Still quite ok for a mid-range unit at this price.
