Walmart has it for $1198 online. https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/rca-75-4k- ... 0197648118

Just browsing and found this. Thought i'd share it. Not the best TV, but the size is good.

Agreed OP the tv itself is trash only bad experience with RCA but size is good for the price point.

lol, i have the 78" tv i bought from vision 2017 boxing day. Still works like a charm, with about 2-3hrs of tv everyday.

It's getting closer to prices I like!
Once 90"+ gets down to $1000 I'll be buying one.
Currently using a projector at 120" as a TV and I can't justify such a decrease in screen size.

Out of curiosity, what is the image quality on a projector? Surely not as clear etc. as a TV?

I have an Epson 3020 Projector on a motorized screen. the quality could definitely be better but the bang for the buck you get out of a projector its absolutely amazing. it's a 1080p projector which may be its downfall, but you don't get the screen door effect. the pixels are effectively much larger which does add to the quality dropping vs a TV but you're also sitting further back which counters it. I would do it again in a heartbeat, the experience is absolutely amazing.

From the projectors I've tried (in the $600-1000 range) I haven't been impressed. I went with models people recommended online but ended up returning them when they just couldn't get close to a TV in terms of brightness and clarity. I'm not talking strictly resolution but an LED screen will generally look better than a projector, unless you are spending thousands on a nice 4K projector. This RCA is tempting because of the size but when I'm dropping $1k on something I don't want to "hope it lasts" so I'll probably hop on the TCL 65" at Walmart for $728 which is much better but obviously can't compare really because 65" and 75" are completely different sizes.

It's definitely a quantity over quality type thing.
Think of the theater. Then think of your local pub that also has a projector.
If you combine the 2 that's basically what you get at home if you control the light levels.

It's great for size, but don't expect the blackest of blacks nor fine detail because pixels are literally measurable.
