I got 2 different styles of business cards about a month ago and I thought they were much better then the ones I printed at home. I got the glossy upgrade which made the colours 'pop'.
You should call them and complain the might give you a refund or reprint them for you.
I have order 750 business cards and return address labels and had no issues with the quality.

VistaPrint business cards
I got a set of "premium" business cards from VistaPrint recently, and I wasn't really happy with the quality...
Besides the paper thickness, they weren't even as good as the Avery Clean Edge cards I printed at home. My biggest complaint is that the VistaPrint cards are a little bit smaller than any other business card I have (mine or for other people)...the difference may be only 1 cm or so for height and width, but it's very noticeable. And the VistaPrint cards are also not as nicely printed or cleanly cut as the cards I made at home on my inkjet printer.
Did I just get a bad batch, or have other people had similar issues?_______________

I've only tried the mailing address labels, but those were quite good.

I also got a couple of stamps and I was happy with those. It was just the cards that weren't so great.
I'll probably place another order with them and try the glossy option this time...and maybe use a more fancy design than the minimalist design cards that I have now.

I've ordered two sets of business cards from them and was happy with the results. They are a really ethical company, just give them a call and they should replace them for you, or atleast give you a deal on a re-print.

I got a set of the free 250 business cards (where you pay for shipping) and they are crap. I have the same problem with the size of the card, and the paper they used is cheap.
I won't be buying my real set of business cards from them.

I've ordered 3 sets of 250. The first set wasn't very good, but it had quite a bit of colour. The second 2 were minimalist (mainly white) and are much better in quality - not sure about size.
Anyone recommend a decent pocket card holder?_______________

There's a really nice leather business card holder at Things Engraved. You can put your initials on the front, and inside it is lined with felt and comes with a nice pen.

Im going to make a reccomend. of somebody I found when I needed biz cards.
Im in the Windsor area and ordered from this guy David in the TO area.
I had 1000 business cards delivered overnight in about 16 hours.

The guys name is David. They are local to many of you TO folk. I was overly impressed with the quality. I ordered once from Vistaprint, waited 40 days and the cards never arrived. Called and took months to get a refund.

Yeah, 5000cards.com has great prices. It shows up as $99.99 plus less than $10 shipping for me. Thanks for sharing the link, Ron.
I've gotten nice business cards made from other places before, and I know that there are much better deals than Vistaprint available if you want a large number of cards. But for the handful of very basic cards I needed, I was hoping VistaPrint would suffice._______________

Yeah, I just got a set printed with Vistaprints and I wasn't too happy either. Forgot to gloss and card wasn't cut properly even though I checked it using their template. Called back and they were happy to reprint at no charge.
However, I also tried overnightprints.com and they were pretty good. However, they ship using UPS standard so brokerage would be expensive if you order anything more than $20 which means you can print about 100 business cards without getting any brokerage/customs fees. Just got my shipment yesterday with no problems. Cards are heavy stock and gloss looks great. Printed colors were very good too (full color background photo)_______________
