How are these compared to Clif bars?
Clif bars are mostly a carb source, their Protein bars use soy as the main source which is fine, but inferior to whey.

I bought a box of the supplement source expired bars to try and they were pretty stale. Still edible but I didn't care for them. I always just grab the Kirkland bars for $22.99 for 18.

That said, decent deal for quest bars. Thanks OP.

Nice deal, grabbed 6 boxes. I've tried most of the Quest flavours and recommend Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, S'Mores, and White Chocolate Raspberry if you want ones that don't taste too much like protein bars. I've tried the Kirkland bars and just can't get over the horrible taste of the chocolate.

Yeah the chocolate kirkland is really bad. Cookie dough is fine though.

I ate a bar this morning that expired in September. It's fine, no impact to texture/flavour at all.
YOU are so BRIGHT ! thank you for sharing your experience,

IMO:

Cookies & Cream
White Chocolate Raspberry
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
S'mores

are all top tier quest bar flavours. I can eat these 4 flavours indefinitely and be happy.

I also love Mint Chocolate Chunk, but mint is super hit-or-miss on a lot of people. Some friends have said it tastes like toothpaste, I disagree but it makes me hesitate suggesting it.

I also love blueberry muffin - I'm a sucker for their muffin chunks and dried blueberry pieces.

Exactly, people see a best before date and think that on that exact date the product turns into toxic waste.

Expired protein is not effective as a fresh batch.

I still use protein powders with a September expiration date. As long as they are stored right, I have no problem with using supplements 2-3 months past their expiry dates.

My gains aint suffering from it ;)

One thing is eating a expired product. Selling an expired product is another thing. It's prohibited in some countries, and surprises me that it's allowed here.
Bulk buying expired product is another different thing...

BTW, Good to know about this OhYeah ONE. as someone doing keto, those bars are good stuff to calm down eventual sweet tooth :)

Best Before Date is such a misunderstood concept... Especially when it's a pre-packaged product that has a shelf life of over 90 days, it's purely voluntary declaration, meaning the manufacturer can put whatever they want. I.e. it means nothing, these bars are probably still good to go like a year after the Best Before Date.
