I'm assuming that they had someone at your local costco from vitamix - As that seems to be the standard deal when they're around. If so you should put which location you're talking about in the OP.

> Also, if anyone wants the dry container as well (which goes for $99 reg. @ costco.ca) - it's a better deal if you get the package for $519 (ie. save $10, and get an extra travel bottle).

It's been $429 for a while now - 2 months at least.

No, it's online only... they don't sell the dry container (or that package) in-store.

6300 is the series 300

From what i read
all the vitamix do the same job and differences are presets
The old model ( 5200) has a different container and cant use the new container (larger and similar to blendtec) but i read that wider container is not good for small portions.

A lot of recipes i read on vitamix website are written for the 5200 model

If you have an US address, you can order a reconditioned 6300 vitamix for around 350$ with 5 year warranty instead of 7

I believe the Aspire models have the shorter jar.

Basically the same, the Costco one has a 7 year warranty where the TSC had a 5 year warranty. Depending on what package TSC was selling, they flip from 48oz to 60oz. Costco is 60oz.
