We are taking orders already. They're due to arrive in January.

So, if I want a GTI with a Nav system, it is a $5800 option? Boggle. Every Golf comes off the same line in Wolfsburg, and the Germans get to order options a la carte. I wish we had that kind of flexibility.

Or buy an RNS 510 and a vagcom and do it yourself. Its not that hard. The first runs about $1500 USD while the second is 250 or so. Might as well pay the small difference and get the Golf R if you're going for a fully optioned 5 door manual GTI.
