Touareg Production

We received official confirmation that the Touareg will be discontinued for the North American market after model year 2017.
This months is actually the last month you can order one.
really?

Bad news for my father in law waiting for the buy back of his 2011 Touareg TDI...according to the US settlement, there's no fix for his model year

Thanks, but are there any incentives on the 2016s? It might still be worth it for me at least depending on what offers are available
Georgetown Volkswagen has a 2016 GTI Autobahn with leather. Not driven and a great deal compared to the 2017. 2017 rates are pretty high still, which is a surprise given other insurance companies has significantly lower rates.

@afretes is this order guide final? Just really curious why ordering R-line on top of Execline will delete Area View and Park Assist.
It is the correct order guide, but no idea why. I'll find out.

Any updates on the 2018 Tiguian?

The refresh seems like a significant update, will the price be much higher as well?

Doubtful. The new Tiguan is built in Mexico on the MQB platform which should cut costs significantly. VW also has to avoid too much overlap with the Atlas (which starts at ~$37k) and they want to be competitive with the rest of the class.

not sure if this has been asked before, are we ever going to see a 6MT 4motion Golf wagon?
FS: Continental-Barum Bravuris 2 - 1x 255/35/18
I don't worship lenses, nor do I see the 3 primes as a "trinity"
there is only one Holy Trinity and they certainly aren't lenses

Thanks for the insight!

Super looking forward to it.

I have heard they are now being delivered in the States. Along with the 6mt Alltrack. Fingers crossed, they should be here soon.

What would be a reasonable price to expect for a used '15 GTI with Autobahn package? Best I see through VW pre-owned is $26k + tax.

You might be able to do a bit better on a private sale but that sounds about right.

Just wondering what you guys think... should I still consider to buy a used TDI (Audi or VW) now?

What kind of milage should I be getting on my 2013 Jetta 2.0? I'm getting around 380-480KM/tank for city and some highway driving. Does that sound about right?

Alex, I know they're likely several months away, but any idea on when the 2018 Tiguan and Atlas will hit dealers, or possibly when price guides will be available?
