With the settlements on the diesels my wife and I are considering doing a trade in on ours for a new Jetta TDI or SUV. I've seen around that the 2015's are available but not seeing much on the dealers sties for these, am I better off going in and asking or is there a way to get a feel for things in advanced? Just trying to gauge whether the trade in is worth it or not.

My girlfriend wants a 2017 Tiguan Wolfsburg. I tried to talk her into waiting for the new 2018s, but she needs it soon. The website has it for $28,698 cash purchase. Does anyone know how much wiggle room there might be on this, especially considering the 2018s are a totally new vehicle?

thanks
Did you end up getting the Tiguan? Any deal to be had? Just trying to decide over the Golf highline or Tiguan Wolfsburg. Both with decent cash incentives at the moment.

I know a guy at VW who'll sell you a brand new 2017 Tiguan Wolfburg for $33300 OTR cash. Let me know if you want it.

I know it must vary by city but what is the lead time on the R's these days (or when will the 18s be orderable)? Have some VW money coming my way ;) so want to plan. In no rush to get rid of my TDI.

Some 2017MY are still available, no word on 2018MY. Not even allocations yet, so we can't even order one. If I had to guess, Sept/October delivery for one.

Any chance there is word on the 2018 gti's in terms of when they can be ordered, specific pricing and packages? Have my TDI buyback with trade in claim under review and would be good to know when I can schedule my appointment to coincide with the gti arrivals.

Many people have been proactive about this and have bought/ordered a car long ago. We have 100 done deals pending TDI settlements already, and some dealers have more.
Pricing isn't out yet. We've got a new order guide released today, and we still don't have prices. No idea when we'll get it.
