In the description of the jacket it tells you the models measurements and the size of jacket he is wearing it can help a little bit.
I wear a small Oxton and I'm 5'9 and 155 lbs with a small athletic build I guess not to sure how to classify it.
The medium might be to big though if you can go to a store and try it on that would be best.

Guys, please... CHEST MEASUREMENTS determine jacket size selection, not so much height/weight dimensions.
No use stating height and weight because your girth/muscles/fat could be placed anywhere... chest, belly, bum, legs, or even FACE...
Small is a popular size in most companies' selection. This isn't limited to jackets. When various stores have blowout/liquidation sales, you often only see the ridiculous sizes remaining, typically the XXXLs of the world.
I don't think so. They obtain their inventory by some other means. If it skeeves you out that it doesn't seem like a legitimate operation, simply don't buy.
(I have no affiliation with any of them.)

Last time I check my chest size was 38 but that was at least 3 years ago. I think I wear a size 40 blazer though. I guess that would mean i fit a small?

I am planning to get the exclusive oxton bomber. I'm 6'1", 180 lbs and my chest size is 42". Should I go with a large or a medium?

I'm 5'7" and 150lbs. Was wondering if the small Original Oxton would fit. Is there warranty on these jackets? I'd hate if they start ripping on me after 2 seasons.

I'm sure they'll have a bigger sale once again in the spring or fall (HOPEFULLY)! I'm praying for that. This is still a good price on jackets though, damn.

Most people here are about the same height 5''9"-6'0" and are in a similar weight class 150-160 -- somewhat athletic construct (chest 36"-38"). I know you guys seem to recommend a small, but you mentioned "snug fit". How does a "snug fit" compare to the fit on the model? Is his considered a little loose? Are you wearing a thin T-shirt or something more underneath?
I did a lot of research and people are saying that this year's run (I know CGFA has one from last year) of CMFR jackets fits smaller than CG. Meaning if you are an XS for CG, then there is a good chance that the Oxton in S would be the right fit. Though, I haven't seen or tried it on in person, so I'm basing this completely off the forums and people's opinions.Last edited by VIIVIIIXIII; Jan 23rd, 2013 at 12:17 PM.

In January 2012 when I got my Gormley at a measly 15% discount, there was talk about how there might possibly be a bigger sale at the end of that winter season. Months passed and no sale happened. I was DAMN glad I got the Gormley when I did, because not only was there no end-of-season sale, but also because 2011-2012 was a brutally cold winter in my area so I was able to put the Gormley through its paces.
I wouldn't count on another sale happening based on experience, BUT as always I HOPE it happens because I like seeing people getting great deals.
