Hey those giant seasoning salt containers don't install themselves (isn't that their "secret" burger spice?)!
Watch other locations open up sooner. I think maybe (just a guess) the franchise investment fell through...maybe looking for a new investor? (or is it all corporate, with some other strange issue??)

A&W breakfast has always been my top fast food breakfast.. love the bacon/egger with a hashbrown inside, the soft sesame bun is the best.

We dont have fast food often, but when the coupons come out we do get breakfast on a weekend or two... and if we are running around with no time and starving, teen burger is my go to.
That's my 2cents worth

Just tried the A&W classic breakfast combo at Eaton Centre. I was expecting small eggs but each egg was pretty huge. Pretty good but not "omg I need to create a thread saying it's so good" good. But without the thread I prob wouldn't have tried it haha.

...and as I mentioned above, a gas station is not what you want if you expect a frosty mug. Plus, the fries will be served in the traditional paper holder, not the metal reusable holder that the restaurant locations use.
The A&W on Mississauga Road and 407 is in a Petro Canada station and they serve you rootbeer in a frosted mug.

That's news to me. I thought the Gas station locations were only serving the beverage in disposable cups.
Plus also, the newly renovated Petro Canada @ Wellesley & Jarvis might now have frosted mugs in their brand new A&W location.

It would make sense to use disposable cups if you don't have a seating area.

I'll be more clear. Many, if not all Petro Canada super stop locations have a seating area.
The disposable cups are great for the drive thru section. (for obvious reasons)

A&W breakfast is awesome, I can't emphasize enough. You can get eggs how you want them, you can go for the fast-food style sandwiches or platter style breakfasts like diners. Way better value than some over-priced sit down breakfast places. Their coffee is organic fair-trade awesomeness. There's usually coupons that come in the mail.

I have only tried the sausage and egger only because of a coupon. Personally disappointed. No comparison to the mcds sausage and egg sandwich.

A&W tasted very bland. And don't they use a sesame bun? Yuck. But now I see they serve this on English muffin? Might have to try again.

The breakfast sandwiches are served on a toasted English Muffin or Sesame seed bun.

I can't eat A&W burgers (too salty) but I do like their breakfast. The toast is usually burnt in places, yet undertoasted in others. Their toasters seem to run too hot. But hey, it's a low cost fast food joint.

North York
A new A&W opened up real close to me on York Mills east of the DVP. Very convenient for me as I like their breakfast meals and they also sell teen burgers in the AM. My Wife can not eat eggs unless they are farm fresh so now I can get my eggs, and she can get her burger at 7am.
