Don't they say breakfast should be your largest meal of the day? 50% calories right there :)

I can't eat A&W burgers (too salty) but I do like their breakfast. The toast is usually burnt in places, yet undertoasted in others. Their toasters seem to run too hot. But hey, it's a low cost fast food joint.
they add a seasoning salt to the burgers right before they cook them. you can tell them not to add the salt.

I can never seem to eat a big breakfast, I think I'd be perfectly fine eating about half of the All Canadian Special

I've been back to AW for breakfast a couple times now. I substitute the bacon for sausage and eat it together with the hashbrown .

Not many people can, but exercise is only a (small) part of your daily calorie expenditure.

To add to that, the 2000 quoted earlier is basically your BMR. You need that much just to be alive and go through your day with minimal exertion.
Any exercise on top of that would require more calories (unless your intention is to lose weight).
