Awcoupons.ca?

I've been dropping in for the spicy chickens, teens, and uncles between $3.50 to $4.50 mark these past few months.

I buy primarily late at night so my options are limited in 24/7 stores... Mcd sucks for the price, screw tim Hortons but by god there are 2 24/7 a&ws within 5 minutes from me and taste great
The online ones I when I login are just useless for the most part. Maybe a free fries, or free apple turnover. That's all I'm seeing..

What's with the timer. 20min to use the coupon. Who does this? Why?

Mama Burger for $2.49.

There is a Mama Burger Combo for $4.49 (fries and regular soft drink).

They also have 2 teen burger coupon but they increased the price to $7.49.

That mama combo price was $4.99 with the previous round of coupons (used to be $3.99 for a long time), so it's nice to see it actually decrease - unlike the McDonald's coupons.

I kind of like the 2x Root beer floats for $3.99 deal.

I once asked them this and they said no, although I am sure people steal them. But keep in mind they are used.

New ones cost like $12 to buy.

Technically speaking if some employee who didn't care said yeah take them you'd only have to boil it and it'll be knew. I doubt they would keep old scratched up, chipped ones around. That would be immoral however.

I tried to use one of the coupons - I can't remember which one - Papa Burger with Fries and Soft Drink for $5.99 - or something like that.

I wanted to change the fries to poutine (and obviously pay the associated fees) and they said I couldn't and had to get the fries... No way to change it.

There were two or three employees behind the counter involved in the discussion and they all agreed, so it wasn't just one clueless employee. Is this actually a thing with A&W or were they crazy?

The coupon only applies a fixed discount, if you change for onion rings, sweet potato or a poutine, you'll just pay thw difference.

Next time, try using the self service kiosk if it's available

That is what I've figured, and what I offered to do, but they weren't having any of it.

I'm likely the only person under 50 to have ever gone to that particular location so they may have never seen a printed coupon before. They looked at it, read the fine print, and discussed amongst themselves what to do.

No self serve kiosk available :-(

This location also never has a lineup. I have no idea how it exists, nor how they were able to renovate it recently. Always 3 staff out front, 2 in the kitchen and at least one on a smoke break. I was there at lunch on a weekday and it was nearly empty.

I have a MAJOR COMPLAINT against the clowns at a&w

The other day I went by with a coupon for $4.99 for 2 eggers
Even after complaining to manager I was told
nothing we can do about it..
I was told the total price was like $6.62
Now...no way am I paying like 33% Taxes
Now the question is was it that one store pulling
a scam on people with no brains/guts
OR
an example of the Ontario liberals screwing us one more time

Comments??
