LOL, all the people desperate to save pennies on gas. Here's a pro-RFD tip: get rid of the gas car, drive an electric and save yourself 90% on fuel, 50% on maintenance & 20% on insurance costs.

I drive about 80,000km per year which equates to around $8,000 in savings every year ($80,000 over 10 years). My whole family drives EVs because they're cheaper and better.
2 LEAFs, an i3 and a Model 3 with an iPace on the way.

OK, here's 2: Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV or Chrysler Pacifica hybrid. Probably save around $2000-2500/year for average mileage driving these vs something comparable without a plug. Obviously depends on your commute and such.

Let me know when they come out with an EV that has a payload of 2000lbs+, a range of 800km+ driving through the mountains in the winter with that payload, and doesn't cost $100k+, then maybe I'll be interested.

Yup, that's what everyone needs right? I'm going on a 5,000+km road trip in my EV soon, but hey I have to stop every 4 hours for 20 minutes, can't do 8 hours straight. You have an amazing bladder BTW, congrats!

Your requirements meets the needs of 90% of commuters. Next thing you'll say that you need it to transform into a boat or an airplane on demand and be able to travel 3 times around the globe in 30 minutes, powered by magical fairies ;) Can't please everyone.

EVs aren't for everyone, only for those serious about saving money and driving a better vehicle. We're at over 8% EV sales in Canada now (largely due to the Model 3), but it should be higher.

Combined with 4% ebates cashback and 10$ off for being a Telus customer, it is a pretty good deal. Now I just wish I could use add my PC account on the speedpass app.

Those don't fit my needs. Outlander is not full size. My knees hit the steering wheel with it up and seat all the way back. One of the most uncomfortable cars I've been in. I'll wait until a Full Size SUV comes out at a reasonable cost.

Anyways back to the original thread. This is a good deal!

Thanks. Ordered.

After I ordered, I noticed that same item is available on Buytopia.ca...which is obvious as Buytopia and Wagjag are same company.
However, ebates give 6% for Buytopia and 4% for wagjag.

Bebo123 wrote: I have the following cards for Esso :

- Esso Extra Points Card
- PC Optimum
- Esso e-gift card
- Esso Price Privilege card

1) Can I use 2 points card (Esso Extra & PC Optimum) or only allowed 1?
2) If I can use all 4 cards, can I use it at the pump or do I have to do inside store?
3) What is the order of cards I insert in machine?
It's either PC or Esso Extra

I think the order would be: points card, privilege card, payment card.

As mentioned higher ebates at 6%, however only 12% instead of 18% for swagbucks
