Desk chair for back to school

I'm going to get this chair for my kid, going to U this year. Apparently during check out, the tax and shipping is included in the price already.
That would be a saving of 13% for me on taxes. I've message them to see if I do order, can I get shipped earlier.

Why would you get a "gaming" chair for your kid in university? What's wrong with normal ones?

I'm hoping it would last 4 years. I've been looking at ikea chairs too.

Usually I only look at DXRacer, or the Corsair one that just came out.

If you're looking at Ikea in that price-range, go for the Markus.
I own this one... dont really like it... still looking for a gaming chair recently.

The reason: I am 175cm, I like to lie down when im watching videos , I can't put my head on the right place... can't reach the headrest

My wife's office was throwing away and replacing four $500 office chairs because the height adjustment no longer worked. I brought one home and picked up a new replacement gas cylinder from a wheel and caster shop for $20. It took two minutes to replace the cylinder and the only tool I needed was a hammer. Good as new. I'm sitting on it now.

Still in the office AFAIK, waiting for somebody to carry them down to the dumpster. Vancouver, near Broadway and Main. Gas cylinder came from Castertown, on Clark near Venables ($20.70 including tax)
