Go for plasma/lcd tv, you don't have to mount it. It is better to buy a stand.

Wall mounted TV (show me pics)
So I'm buying a TV soon and still debating between projector/lcd/plasma/rear projection.
The girl really wants a wall mounted tv but I am having trouble picturing it and how it's laid out exactly. IE: Cables and where does the dvd player/receiver go in your setup?
If my tv is mounted to the wal then I don't want a stand that holds all my other stuff.
Show me your pics or give me advice on a wall mounted tv setup!_______________
