[Walmart] $164 (YMMV) Lenovo Flex 3-1130 80LY 11" laptop

Just bought this over my lunch break at the Dartmouth Crossing (Halifax, NS) Walmart. Seemed like a good deal. Hybrid touch screen tablet/laptop, 4GB ram, 32GB HD dual core, Intel N3060, bluetooth, Dolby HD audio. Came with 1 year MS Family Office 360 subscription. It was not on display and practically hidden, in a sealed and unopened box, stored in a glass case, on the bottom shelf. The only reason I even noticed it was because it had a clearance sticker stuck to the glass in front of it. It was kept with the tablets and netbooks, near the back of the aisle. Only one more left. Don't remember regular price - was high $300s.
Edit: Added receipt.

If it really is N3050 + 4 GB Ram this is a great deal. But all I found with 32 GB HD are 2 GB Ram version. Can't find a 4 GB version at all. Can you check and confirm if it really is 4 GB Ram?

Still not a bad deal. Of course.

My apologies, the CPU model number was wrong. I have corrected it. It is N3060. I believe it does indeed have 4 GB RAM. But I could have read it wrong. Let me know and I'll edit the post again. I have attached a photo of the specs sticker that was on its box.

Box says 4 so it is.

Tremendous deal!

Didn't see this thread but bumped into the laptop on my own Wal Mart visit.

$164 Lenovo Flex 3 (11.6")
4GB ram, 64 GB SSD
Intel N3060

One unit in stock at Milton Wal Mart as of 645PM.

Happy hunting.

OP: add price to title?

i got one of these yesterday, was randomly in the walmart. Was the last one. Its a great little laptop. Battery life on average watching netflix, with brightness only up 1 notch, wifi on, no bluetooth on. Gets about 15% per hour so will work out to 6 to 7 hours on power saving mode. Great build quality as well.

I recommend installing fresh windows 10 home edition, so you dont have bloat ware. It was VERY laggy before, installed fresh off a usb within windows, make sure to keep nothing, delete all. Most drivers will work, including wifi. The touchpad will need updating off lenovo website. Just update drivers there. Plus you get 1 year of Office 365 personal, which is tied to an email address and can be logged on anywhere.

also, playing overwatch at 720 resolution, lowest settings and 47% rendering, average about 25 fps in training, but 10 FPS multiplayer. Can play, but don't count on being mvp lol. Definately not a gaming laptop, but cool that you can even play it.

Any thoughts on the Asus X540Y Laptop? Its 15.6 inch and got a CPU: AMD E2-7110 with 8GB Ram and 1 TB Harddrive. got HDMI, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 + USB type C. Actual price is 499 but got it for 164 + Taxes = 186.45 Worth the buy? This is in Thunder Bay Walmart

At $164 it's definitely a deal. At $499, not so much. Put in an SSD.

Someone posted the picture of the UPC and they wrote it down a few posts up.

Can anyone answer this question I uninstalled McAfee but after doing it took up more space on the hard drive? I had 33gb free before but after uninstall I have 24gb any clue?

Edit - nevermind it was downloading Windows updates at the same time

I know very little about its technical rating. My Lenovo's 11" screen is definitely on the small side - which would be a huge disadvantage for some.
On the other hand, it's way more portable because it fits in my small backpack - a 15" machine would not. It would also be easier to manage if you need it for notetaking at school - it would easily fit on those small side flip-desktops that are attached to typical lecture hall seats.

Specs wise your Asus is a better laptop, faster processor, more ram. It's just not as portable. I would say it's a great deal at $164+tax.

No need to restore. To get rid of the lag problem delete or rename the file called fmapp.exe -- it should be located under program files. Its part of the realtech software. Reboot and no more lag problems. I would also delete all the lenovo programs to speed it up a bit more.

Works great after that

Just download windows 10 off Microsoft into a USB and install it fresh. Most drivers work automatically, just touchpad needs updating off Lenovo website. Runs muchhh better than with the stock Lenovo bloated windows 10 (even after I uninstalled all the extra stuff I could see)
