[Walmart] ACER XR342CK 34" Monitor - $749

I have been following multiple high-end ultrawide monitors for a while now, and this got to be the best deal I have seen.
I'm not sure if this is a mistake or a glitch in the system. This monitor is 40% cheaper than amazon.ca and 15% form amazon.com
So anyone looking for high-end ultra wide in $860 (including tax), this is it!
I know gsync is another $300 premium, and you may have amd vga, but this is adaptive-sync, so should work well with either of them.
And depending on panel, you can achieve 100hz refresh rate, I will return mine if it does not.
I will keep you guys posted.
Cheers

These panels don't reach 100hz without frame skipping so if you were hoping for that it's not happening.

It will "Run" at 100hz, but it will drop frame like mad when you run UFO test. It is basically unusable.

In fact, this panel is already overclocked at 75Hz, it was originally speced for 60Hz. Even a tiny bit of overclock, like 5hz will introduce frame skipping for this panel. You can forget about 100Hz.

This is a pretty good monitor based on reviews but is really only a good deal for those looking for this. In reality, its not a hot deal for most because you can get an inferior 32" version of this for less than half the cost. Again its not as good as this but you're also paying less than half and the performance difference is less than the price difference for most. Also this is priced close to 4k price range and for non-gamers, those might be preferred. Gamers might actually want higher refresh rates too since i believe this caps at 80 fps (or 75?).

Just wondering are you speaking from personal experience?
My “research” showed 100hz is pretty stable, being said that I will have to try it myself.

And it is 1080 not 1440.

VA is better for blacks. IPS is better for colours. Pick your poison.

Yes. I had it before my eyes and tested it myself.

Basically, All the post you found on google about people talking about putting this to 100hz doesn't know anything about Monitor overclocking.

This IPS panel is pretty well known and used in several models across manufacturers. Exactly zero of them was able to overclock, even to 80Hz was impossible without drop frames.
