Update: August 3rd 2017
Deal was in last week's flyer (July 27th to August 2nd) so deal might be expired now? Unless they never changed the price.
flyer12 also found it online for the same price: https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/blackweb-b ... 0197212832

Walmart flyer for Ontario & Quebec has BlackWeb USB3 16GB drives for $4.88.
I picked up a couple. The construction is pretty cheap, and the pullout tab isn't super stable, seems to be pushed up, unless you hold it when plugging in. But at least the USB connector is metal unlike some really cheap ones which use plastic. Has a very faint red LED indicator.
I moved a bunch of files onto it, and saw 20-24 MB/s write speed, I would say 21 MB/s seemed rather stable. But this speed will depend heavily on many factors. Available capacity is 14.6GB, would probably take 11-12 minutes to fill up at such speeds.
CrystalDiskMark benchmark:
Might be worth it to pickup for $5, if you need to move some files around or extra non-critical backup. Don't expect anything too good at this price, temp storage at best.
If anyone has experience with these USB drives let us know any more details.
