Walmart Boxing Day: 32 GB Lexar SD Class 4 and MicroSD Class 10 for $13.88

Walmart Boxing Day flyer is out! You can view it on the RFD website at http://www.redflagdeals.com/flyers/walm ... 013-22884/

Thought this deal was worthy of mention.

32GB Lexar Memory Cards, in both SD (Class 4) and MicroSD (Class 10) for $13.88. Micro SD deal seems better to me, as it's a Class 10.

Sale starts at noon on Dec 24 ONLINE and on Dec 26 in stores.

Happy Holidays!

It looks like a class 10. NCIX had a 64gig for $30ish on BF (IIRC); I'm personally hoping for that to happen again.
When given enough time, all threads on RFD can and will go off on a tangent.

I don't know if they're a 2nd rated brand but I've never had a problem with Lexar cards. I imagine there's always a bad batch in any brands. At least it's more trustworthy then and DX, Ebay stuff that they sell.

Sandisk is credited for being one of the inventor of SD/microSD flash memory card but as far as quality/reliability, they are pretty much the same. It's similar to asking Canon vs Nikon. Lexar (now part of Micron) is definitely second-rate as far as market share is concerned.

Horrible riviews is the only difference between Lexar microSD for 32g class 10 with Sandisk.

Pay just a little more for the quality, amazon.ca have special now for Sandisk Ultra MicroSD class 10 32Gb for $21 and 64Gb for $44.

Yes, definitely go with the SanDisk. It's quality. No choppiness or slow random read/write speeds. I used to have a 10 speed AData 32gb card and it was super slow compared to a 4 speed SanDisk... could have just been a compatibility thing but either way, if your device supports it get the 64gb SanDisk... worth every penny.
