Couldn't find any decent reviews at this moment. Important to know, it can be tested personally and returnable to Walmart Canada within 14 days if happens to be a bad choice. A plus that you have a warranty of 1 year that you can rely upon 'locally' instead of those from similar made in China tablets that overseas dealers offer.

doubt it, however it has a microUSB so possibly an OTG cable would work.

Screen Resolution? No idea but it has hmdi output so it must be a 'decent' resolution for LCD tv viewing.

If it is just rebranded chinese tablet, then resolution will be 800x480 and will be able to use Google Play but will have many apps hidden. And no bluetooth. It does have OTG capability and can plug in USB drives etc for movie playing (what I use mine for). Heard it works with USB hubs so can have keyboard mouse working too.

I don't understand why devices that come with either ICS or Froyo but are not Google Play! compatible. Is there a deal they need to strike with Google to include that function or .. ?

well i bought a 10" POS tablet from Costco (cant remember name*.) and it had no access to Android market for some reason, it had to be hacked. returned that as it was useless otherwise.

I can't find confirmation if it has 3D GPU acceleration.

You can probably use the inbuilt file manager to install Astro and then install APK's directly or even the Google Play app is what I'm assuming.

Hipstreet has been around for at least a decade. I remember buying hipstreet products for my color gameboy.
