FYI, You can't pay off any part of your tab, whether it's 1% or higher... it doesn't matter until three months is up. I just tried paying some of it.

I think you’re supposed to cancel the whole plan, not just try to pay some of it off.BritishColumbian wrote: ↑ FYI, You can't pay off any part of your tab, whether it's 1% or higher... it doesn't matter until three months is up. I just tried paying some of it.

what do you mean by that? you have to stay in KOODO for 3 month, then cancel the service to pay the tab balance?BritishColumbian wrote: ↑ FYI, You can't pay off any part of your tab, whether it's 1% or higher... it doesn't matter until three months is up. I just tried paying some of it.

But if you pay $45x 3x1.13=$152.55, then you erase any potential saving.mrblack747 wrote: ↑ what do you mean by that? you have to stay in KOODO for 3 month, then cancel the service to pay the tab balance?
The cost would becomes
($360+$35)x1.13-$200=$246.35
And add the wasted 3 months plan on top
$246.35+152.55=$398.9
May be it would be better to just get it off kijiji brand new.

Everybody pretty much knows this. You don't just pay off the tab balance. You either cancel the line or port out and Koodo will mail you the outstanding balance.

I am with Fido and would like to force them to get me a better deal. I’ve read here that the only way is to just port out. Since this is good, I would really appreciate if someone can explain to me how to do it?

There is no way to force them. If you port out, they may or may not call you back with a counter offer.calexicoca wrote: ↑ I am with Fido and would like to force them to get me a better deal. People cancel same day or next day all the time.

I realize this may be a dumb question, but how do you go about getting this if you're in Atlantic Canada? I'm currently on the $48 5 GB SK/MB plan...brobinsoncc wrote: ↑ What are you on currently? The $48 6Gb or $56 8GB Quebec plans are very simple to get with this deal, at least in Ontario
Looking to get a phone while either going with that plan or keeping my current plan. I realize you can add a separate line and cancel, just don't want to get blacklisted at Wal-Mart. If I get on this plan you speak of, I could fulfill the 90 days that way.

Does Walmart or Bestbuy claw back the gift card if line is closed within few days? I know koodo doesn't take their activation bonus.

No 0$ upfront for iPhone 8s on a medium tab, so this looks to be the best Apple option?
