[Walmart] LEGO Classic 900-Piece Creative Box or LEGO DUPLO 120-Piece Creative Box $24.88

From Walmart's Black Friday Sneak Peek flyer, you can get a LEGO Classic 900-Piece Creative Box or a LEGO DUPLO 120-Piece Creative Box for $24.88 (regularly $49.86), starting November 16. Fewer pieces than the $40.00 1500-piece set from the past two years, but still a good deal in terms of bricks-per-dollar.
For comparison, the standard 1000-piece LEGO basket is $79.99 while the 110-piece DUPLO basket is $74.99.

Deal starts November 16 and ends November 26, limit of three per customer.

Thanks, will get a couple for xmas for sure. Liked the bigger boxes from the last two years, but this isn't too bad.

@RFDSimon it says Item not available as of today. Are you suggesting that it will be available starting Nov 16? :)

They did the same thing last year with the 1500-piece set and made stock unavailable until the sale officially started - I am 99% sure that's also the case this year

You could try going to the store a few days early. Last year I went 3 days before the sale started and they already had the pallet out and picked up a couple boxes before the rush.

My Wife saw the Duplo set already out on display today in Edmonton. She just checked the price but it was 49.99 still, not marked down yet.

Funny, I still have an unopened 1600 piece box that I haven't figured out what to do with it.

What if I buy it in store now at $49 and go to get a price difference refund when it’s on sale? Would that work?

These LEGO/Duplo boxes have already been spotted on the floor at a few walmarts over the past week (with $49.xx signage)
Depending on location, the sale pricing may actually go into effect 1-2 days before the "official" sale start date.
I've bought countless flyer items on Thursdays, sometimes on Wednesdays for sales that should have started Friday.

So my question is still: why not buy now in store and try to get the difference refunded on the 16th?

I suppose as long as you're willing to make 2 trips/wait in-line at CS no other reason not to if you want the sets.
For me personally, if it's a item that will likely sell-out fast (these will likely), I would do this.
Though, I'm passing on this sale, if you really want it and it's on the floor at your store now grab it ASAP then go back for adjustment.
