All of these devices are battling to be the one you choose for your home where it can listen, learn, become essential and make them money monetizing the data. That's why they're all being almost given away. The only reason they aren't free is because we'd all get suspicious - a bit like with Facebook where it's free because you're the product and making them money.

Lenovo will probably just drop updating this thing in any meaningful way as soon as it's no longer profitable (they've probably already reached this point it seems). It's too bad that they all don't just run the exact same software, that would just make too much sense.
Do you have any details around the fact that they're running different software? thought google had it so that these assistant devices could be updated by google instead of the manufacturer ? I was hoping they fixed the same issue with android phones.

My JBL smart display ordered from TheSource the same date came a week later. Very rich fantastic sound. I'm impressed. A lot better than GH itself but costs $70 more than Lenovo.
How much did you end up getting the link view for?

Otherwise, it's an awesome unit. Have it displaying pictures from my phone when it's not in use.

Did you have it replaced or tried different plugin? I have the same noise issue with mine.

Got same issue. Since I use it for music, can't stand it. So I returned it.

The echo show is terrible, i hope Google works better
I quite like my Echo Show. I wish it were bilingual, but that’s pretty well the only complaint. People in reviews claimed so my limitations with the Canadian version but most have turned out to not be the case.

Still, the Google powered smart screen is appealing if Google’s privacy methods don’t bother you.

So can I use the search function for YouTube on this? Like how a tablet works?

My only complaint, and my biggest one are the video features. I use a lot of Prime Video and trying to navigate Prime Video within the Echo Show is almost impossible.

Can anyone confirm if you can view all of your nest cameras at the same time on the screen or is it restricted to only viewing one feed at a time?

$210+tax after $10 off. Again, very nice sound. It probably worth it if you listen to music all the time.

Yes voice search for YouTube works.

Also, learnt something new. I left volume at Max and it walked on me in granite surface. So have to keep it around 7 to stay put.
