There's no Netflix capability except for casting from another device.

On another note, I had paid $148 on BF and since it was advertised now for $138, I sent an email asking for a price adjustment. They credited my account with a $15 evoucher with a 1 year expiry date.

Didn't know Walmart do price adjustment. I too bought on BF for $148.
Going to do live chat later to get my price adjust

Seems like a good product but just can't think of a use case... Everywhere I have google home I have a TV with chromecast close by, would rather watch YouTube on my 65" TV from kitchen then 8" display

I didn't buy it yet. If I stay for over 24 hrs....I won't have to pay duties.

I believe this was $149.99 on black Friday.

Mail it to a mail forwarder to get it to Canada.

179USD works to be about $240CAD before forwarding fees. Staples recently had the Link View on sale for $270CAD. I think I'll just wait until it goes on sale again (hopefully Boxing Day).

Cheers

Just noticed this last night, thought it was my coffee machine.

Our older baby monitor gives off a whine like this, annoying when it's super quiet and you can hear it.

Is it faulty? Should I return?

EDIT - seems that Lenovo says this is normal but seems common.

I think there is the R5 update coming down soon, but I still have not received it OTA. At the very least, it should be 4.40.

I can't believe that some people are willing to pay money to install a wiretap in their home

I would return while you can and wait for the Google Home Hub to be available here. Lenovo is obviously not stepping up..
