You might add price in title and Walmart location in details.

Also, was it a display model or did they have new stock?

Yes, please put the price in any thread titles you create. You can do it by going to edit, then advanced. Your threads will get more attention and it saves the rest of us time.

That's funny, that's the price I saw it on for regularly when I was looking for the other camera clearance deal.

It's on website for $600, wondering if you could order then take it to store for price adjustment?

Updated the thread title, thanks for the feedback!

It is on clearance so YMMV (I got mine in Lloydminster, AB), but it is new stock, not the display model.

Its a decent price, but not nearly as good of a deal as the other clearance cameras Walmart has had recently. $649 is a super inflated price

Edit: Scratch that Costco price, it was .com
$649 is still inflated though, retail price for this kit is $599 pretty much everywhere, and you could usually find it for $550.
Source also has a 2-lens kit for $699.

I'm thinking Walmart saw how popular the last clearance was and realized they could squeeze a little more out of impulse buyers.

400 should have been the regular price. At 400 I have no appetite to buy.

I recall that this was selling for $599 then they raised the price to $649. After being spoiled by the liquidation of older DSLR models for as low as $97, we must have been hoping to see this go sub $200.

In the previous round of camera clearance, Walmart lowered the prices even more after a few weeks. They had the Sony A3000 with a regular price of $398. They put it on clearance for $59 and then dropped the price to $29. Very much YMMV but they may further reduce the price of the D3400 as well.

Not much stock to begin with so it'll likely get cleared out at $400 given the apparent discount.
