It does look like $3.49 is the new "sale price" unfortunately. $4 is not a deal though as you can PM any flyer at Walmart.

To me the issue is I have to drink the whole bottle at one time. I rather drink one 355ml can at a time than one 710ml bottle.

I buy Pepsi Next and it's always over $5/12 pack at Walmart. So, 2 cases for $8 is good for me.

Clearly OP has been filling pallets in the warehouse too long. Prices will be cheaper than he claims and often. Its called a lost leader. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loss_leader So this doesn't hot.
If I robbed the place I would be out by now....

I have the same problem-if it's in front of me, I drink it. I can't have those in the house. I'm so not happy about the less sugar change on Coke's part but it certainly looks like they will follow through and people will buy it, considering it a "better" option. My one true vice, and it has to change after 100 years. I miss the old days, when there was public outcry over "new" Coke, never to be seen again when it backfired in a HUGE way.

Yes, it tastes similar to diet Pepsi to me.

Me too. Makes me feel sick. Would be nice if there was an alternative that I could at least stomach.

I remember the days when a 24 pack case of coke would be the norm on sale every few weeks at $4.99, sometimes even $3.99...slowly over the years price of pop has been increasing...
