Do we have the choice of iPhone color?
Does the walmart gift card can be used to buy anything at Walmart? Like toy for my kid?

So basically it's (360+15 SIM card+3$ish of used service)x tax - 250 gc - 25 referral?
How to get the $25 referral?

Edited: Nevermind just read you won't get it if you cancel right after.

So if the self referral doesn't work, according to OP's calculations, wouldn't it come out as $207.65? (OP's calculations shown below)

$360 phone + $45 for seasonal hold + tax = $457.65 - $250 gift card - $50 self referral = $157.65
I thought I read seasonal hold is not needed? Thus, also no need for self referral as it will be invalid for those cancelling right away. Shouldn't the math be
$360 + tax = $403.2 (BC) / $406.8 - $250 gift card = $153.2 / $156.8 ?

Does anyone have any experience with these deals in Quebec/Montreal? There's a walmart here but it's a little out of my way, I'd hate to go there just to find out deal doesn't exist here.

Like junglemage666 said, they apparently only have the gray units.

you know what might do? i will go there tomorrow or the day after and ask the guy genuinely if i did something that creates any problems for them.
in the end of the day 160 for an iphone se is a too-good-to-be-real deal in my opinion. and i honestly dont want to do something that causes trouble for the guys working there.
and i want to ask them if what i did creates any red flag on my future purchases from them.
Have had iPhone SE's for $96 & $120, $140 from
Them. $160 is NOt too good to be true.

Let us know how it goes

The reason why it would be invalid is that , it takes 6-7 weeks for the referral to go thru !

I was able to get two at walmart (langelier/jean-talon st-leonard, mtl) with 250$ gift card. At the begin he told me 200$ and then i asked for 50$ bonus.. then he said how i know about this.. I said i visit another walmart but they didnt have stock.

I'm interested in getting one for the wife as a gift.

If I already have a Koodo account (out of province plan), would adding another line trigger Koodo to flag my account? Or would it be safer to start a new account with local number and provide them with new email address?

Only concern I have is on contract it says $50 Koodo credit and $200 Koodo credit and that is used to pay for the $250 Walmart credit, so when we cancel, they could theoretically ask for the Koodo credit back. Or am I thinking too much?
