When this sale popped up last year I did some research on the reports of RainX breaking windshield tank sensors. The reports varied so much because there are actually many different formulas and everyone just calls it the same RainX windshield fluid.

As far as I could tell, the ORANGE formula was definitely clogging sensors. The YELLOW formula from last year was questionable but less reports. This new PURPLE formula is TBD so pick your poison. Astonished Face

Got 12 jugs (3 cases), it should last me >5 years. 10 years ago, I bought 10 jugs from Walmart when it was $1 each on clearance, that lasted me 5 years.

Did your car(s) fall apart or sprout horns in the last 5 years then? LOL

Saw a couple of women with shopping carts full of boxes. Apparently, they bought 20 of them. WTH, is that really necessary?

My store was limit 1

At 5 dollars off is it really worth hoarding them? Lol

Got a bunch on clearance last spring for about $5 I think, put them on then and just after one snow storm this month, the passenger side has already stop wiping (does not touch the glass) at the top half of the blade.

Don't know where you are but the -45C I got from Costco would usualy freeze on the windshield at about -20C until my car is slightly warmed up.
Same experience here, so won't be using those from Costco.

At Oakville Walmart, there are two full skids for rainx de-icers.
