The RCA is quite sponge-worthy. If someone needs a 42" 1080P, this is the way to go.

Was looking at the Tvs at WM last week. This TV looks pretty good in comparison to all the cheapo brands they have there. Looks quite a bit better then the Sanyo. I'm wondering about selling my 720p 42" plasma to get this. But I haven't found RCA products to be very long lived..

When dealing with 42" screens (not so big), the difference between 1080p and 720p is hardly noticable. Thats what I've experianced and what I've read.

In comparison its like when you scan a picture at 200dpi it looks the same as as a picture scanned at 800dpi unless you blow that picture up to make a poster.

I'd be more concerned with refresh rate of 120 not 60 so that fast action doesn't blur on lcd's, this part I've read but not experianced.

Thanks! Picked up an RCA today from the Walmart in Richmond Hill. I think they had at least 5-6 more left of the RCA (no Sanyos) and they keep them in the back so you have to ask for them. This was one of the easiest buys... great deal!

Sounds over priced to be honest. Dnyex should be $699 reg price imho.
Should we have open retail markets to bring more UK and US retailers to Canada?wegmans-tops-trader-joes-americas-favou ... #p27788812
