Closer examination of the box reveals it is collecting dust.
I wonder how fun NHL 93 will be nowadays lol. My buddies and I used to play that everyday.

It's "collecting dust" because it isn't officially released and is supposed to be sitting in a warehouse until Sept. 19th.

Honestly, this collection is way the hell better than the PS1. This is a really great lineup of Genesis games. Deeper cuts than the SNES, but all of the stuff made by Treasure is fantastic to this day. People should rediscover Treasure's games.

I see this holding its value better than the PS1, just a personal opinion as i feel this holds a stronger nostalgic feeling for us 90's kids
I haven't opened my ps1, but i know when i receive my sega mini, it will be opened the very first day!!

I'm just going to wait until it drops in price like the PS classic. Got it for $20.

My son has been asking for this since he saw it online. He even put it on his christmas list already.

I feel like paying $100 is a little much but he's been asking me to find a Sega Genesis to add to our game room. At the price people are asking for actual working Sega Genesis and 2 controller + games I will probably just get this and he will have a bunch of games to enjoy.

If this was a Dreamcast, I’d be in for 2! Just hit its 20th anniversary a few days ago.

Sega's smarter than that. They've been able to watch market trends and this won't be overproduced in the same way. People forget that the Genesis / Mega Drive was the dominant console in Europe; it has a huge following worldwide. It's not going to sell out immediately, but it'll be out of stock well before $20.

Nope - reviews have been strong on this one. On par with NES mini.

I pre-ordered for $79.99 a while back. I can't wait - great game collection on it!

I'm not a Sega fan and haven't followed this much, but the game lineup seems way better than the PS1 mini's was out of the box. Still too pricey to me as a non-Sega fan though, maybe this will go on sale by Black Friday.
c'mon get happy! :cheesygri
