I bought one for my parents today, took the short trip to Massena NY Walmart, which still has 6 in stock according to Brickseek. The TV is stickered "made in Mexico" so no duty charges (NAFTA agreement). Just provincial taxes if you get told to go inside at the border crossing, which in my case the border officer just waived me through saying "no tax charges for you today" lol. Lucky I guess?
The best way to find out if a specific Walmart store: a) has stock b) is selling the TV for $299 (there's some Wallys selling it at $450) is to use Brickseek. Brickseek is an awesome tool to check for stock and pricing of items at Walmart USA (and some other stores). Here's the link for this TV:

Just type in a ZIP code and your good to go.
Note: Massena Walmart didn't have this TV on display. I had to ask an employee in the electronics department about it and he grabbed me one from the back. So just in case you go and you don't see the tv in stock always ask if they actually have stock and if they can locate one for you.
Warranty Issues: YMMV: Warranty with Samsung looks like an issue. I called the Samsung USA warranty department and they told me: If you have any problems you actually have to bring the TV to a address in the USA and call for service. The warranty isn't valid in Canada.
Here's a Costco thread on this same TV from January:
