[Walmart] Walmart: Royale velour plush 12 mega rolls - 48 rolls: $8.97 plus free scrubbing bubbles

Pretty good deal on its own but the bonus is that these packages come with a coupon (sticked on) for a free bottle of scrubbing bubbles if you purchase 1 pk of the toilet paper ( value of $3.78). The funny thing is that the cashier took off 3.78 per bottle when I bought two but when u buy two its 2 for $6 so basically I got another $1.56 off

I always found it funny that they say 12 rolls = 48 rolls.

Here, with 3 kids, when a roll last 2 days, we are happy.

Imagine if a roll = 1 roll.
I would have to change them twice a day (ie everytime we start the washing machine or laundry machone) !!!

Based on https://forums.redflagdeals.com/toilet- ... d-2078163/

This is coming up to $2.43/1000 sheets (based on 12 rolls/pack at 308 sheets/roll. That's not that great of a deal...

If you think of the extra scrubbing bubbles at $3.78 as a "discount" off the $8.79 price, then the price goes down to effectively $1.40/1000 sheets. It's an okaaaay deal.

Better deal still to go to Costco and buy the Kirkland toilet paper, 30 rolls at 425 sheets/roll for $17~ - nets to around $1.33/1000 sheets (unless price has changed, I haven't bought this in a while - I've stocked up lol)

Man I just bought the cascades toilet paper that was on sale at Costco. The cascades suck!

Scrubbing bubbles (with bleach) works very well for cleaning the bathtub.
Wife likes velour, so I think this is a good deal!

Cheap Royale = $3 for 24 rolls toilet paper = $3 for 6 boxes of tissue = $3 for 6 rolls of paper towel after all discounts ($1 off is always available on Royale website for print out)
Save a lot but end up spending more

Go for a combo. Wipe. Wash. Wipe, the last can be done with a reusable clothe

Like many things, they have shrunk dramatically over the years. The only ones that seem like they were when I was a kid are Kirkland. It's all marketing and profits.

Royale is the worst of the brand name TP for leaving behind "crumbs".
I got these on sale from SDM a while back. I've gone back to stocking up on Charmin.
