Walmart - Westinghouse 40 " 1080p 120 hz TV $298 Free shipping
http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/westingh...-hdtv/10169413 EARN CASH BACK
Well after the BS from Vision.ca where they pulled the old "available in stores" crap for this set, I set my focus on BB,FS,CT,TD trying to find a decent deal/equivalent. Most of the sites
were writeoffs trying to order(understandable) but as all hope was about to fail I found it at WallyMart for $10 more, free shipping. A Christmas Miracle! Actually the other Miracle I had was ordering a PS3 Fri. afternoon on EBay and it showed up Monday at 11 !

Reason: Added vendor "Walmart" to the thread title (nsx).add 40 inch to title

Any feedback on the quality of this set?
EDIT: buy first ask questions later. Picked one up and we'll see how it turns out, reviews online seem good for a budget TV.

Thanks OP.
It would probably be useful to mention the size of the TV in the thread title.

i bought a westinghouse 19inch LCD monitor from Target on BF a few years ago and never had any problems with it. Seems like a reliable brand

Is this the best deal for 40in LCD TV? I recall seeing a $199 40in TV, does anyone recall which brand is it? I have a room that can use a ultra cheap 40in TV...

The westinghouse model on the visions BD flyer is not 120hz as advertised - it is 60 hz
The Wally World one is 120hz so better to grab this one anyway for the extra $10 and better WM return policy

That was price error by sears for Toshiba early this year. It was $218 for 60Hz LCD. Sears did gracefully honored their price.

I saw this last nite as well. but I'm looking to mount this on the wall.. and read a user review about the difficulty of doing so.. so If your not going to do this its a wicked deal!
Here are the reviews that made the decision very easy

Don't let the name put you off. My first lcd was a westinghouse 42" lcd from dell for about $800. 2007 or 2008 iirc.
Still going strong, used every day in the bedroom.
