Last time I checked westinghouse ceased to exist as a real brand and is just now a "brand name" (just like RCA) stuck on whatever products distributed by whoever currently holds the rights to the name.
For that reason reliability varies between one product to another and quality should be considered per each specific product (regardless of whatever horror stories you might hear on other products being marketed under the same name).
Amazon (mostly favourable reviews) http://www.amazon.com/Westinghouse-U...owViewpoints=1
Best buy reviews http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Westingh...&skuId=5290913
Given WM relaxed return policy I see no one going wrong with this purchase (as long as you can fit 40" TV in your car)

I been looking into this as well. Does anyone know if this supports HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control)? I will buy it. If anyone has or tested it please let me know.
Thanks,

Thanks OP! A Nice "backup" TV in case my LG 42" 3D price error from New Egg doesn't come
...It's pretty sad that some of these TV deals are better than anything boxing day has to offer!

Are you still able to return this if you aren't satisfied? I see it's a Clearance deal so it's stopping me from purchasing.

is there a co-axial outlet where one can directly plug in the cable wire? Also, I am assuming that there is no USB outlet?

I have the same one purchased in the same sale and am watching it now. It held up great, no concerns over quality with Westinghouse in my experience.

Ya I was cursing pretty loudly last night around 9pm as well when I was able to finally load the page and it said in store only, id seen this one at WalMart earlier in the week, but didnt buy it cause isn't this UW only 60hz and 2hdmi, whereas the visions.ca CW one is 120hz and 3hdmi???

Edit: maybe its only 1 less HDMI?

So from what i can see the one from Visions is the better TV.
It comes with 3 HDMI input and is less of hassle to mount.

Just a note - I think the dimensions are off on WM's site.
The bezel looks really thin, yet it says it's 44 inches wide. My 40 inch Sony is just under 39 inches wide and looking at it and the pictures of this one, the Sony seems to have a larger bezel (although not by a huge lot). BestBuy.com lists it as 38 inches wide - this makes a lot more sense. I was doing some measuring to see if I could pick one of these up for the bedroom and something just seemed off about 44 inches so I started to compare it to my Sony...

The Westinghouse seems to have a power brick!! Not mount friendly at all. It's all bad enough having a cord hanging down, but a brick is ridiculous!
Here's a picture a customer put up of said brick on Amazon.com:
