[Walmart] YMMV? Scorching hot? Fram oil filters lava hot $2.00 to $4.00 air filter $5.00

Was at walmart looking for a phone deal but ended up finding cheap oil filters and air filters.
Looks like walmart is clearing on slow moving models? If they fit your car you can be saving over 80% off retail.

If you own a K-car, chevette, Aerostar, Astro van, or Dodge Omni act fast as supplies are limited! Millennials won't get this.

I once owned a diesel 'Vette. Actually it was the Pontiac version, the Acadian with an Isuzu 1.6 diesel. Got 300,000 kms out of it. The steering wheel column was angled downward and toward the centerline of the car, so the right side of the steering wheel was closer to your chest than the left, but ya got used to it.

Fram oil filters have poor reviews. Air filters are much simpler so there's not much risk with the the Frams.

Uncle had one if those... Gas peddle rusted through the floor so he rigged up some Paracord attached to the throttle body. Had to pull the cord to go faster, LOL! That was 25ish years ago, back when you could fix a car with a bobby pins, a hammer, some gum and pantyhose.

Orange can of death! I wouldn't use them in any vehicle, not even for free!

And good thing they would also make your resulting coffin out of the same materials.

Very hot if you get lucky but this is gonna be very YMMV depending on your car, local stock etc. My guess is they are mostly clearing out parts for older model cars.

Your guess is wrong for older models unless the Ph7317 is incorrect listing for 2018 Acura models.
For the member that gave a downvote can you find cheaper?

Can you also define "OTOH" from a post further down?

Lucky you! I've read too many horror stories on those filters. Plus seen it first hand one that failed causing an oil starvation issue on a friend's Camaro, which killed the engine.

I see stock for my car model at my local store, however, the price is showing up at $7 as opposed to the $2-4 range. I do see, however, that for the stores in the link that you posted that they are $2.

Does Walmart price match it's other stores?
