We live in a modern world where almost all cell phones now have a camera, and several of those also have video.
A picture is worth a thousand words...video captures the essay.
You should go back, place the order again and capture the whole thing on video, then post it here!

I'm bumping this old thread because I have a complaint.

I don't know if this is occurring at other McDonalds. But at this one location, this has happened to me twice now during my lunch hour. A staff approaches me while I'm eating to ask me to complete a survey. I respond to them that I'm eating and I'm on my lunch, and they still persist. I literally have spell out the word NO.

I'm going to bring this up on McDonalds Facebook page to have this store stop this practice.

It's easy to guess the issue. The location is way behind on their survey quota and the DM is on the manager to get the numbers up so it resulted in this pestering. Unless there is good incentives for being on of the top survey locations but I doubt it.

Why do they need to bug people for a survey?? They already offer a survey on the back of their receipts.

Hi,

The best way to complain is to go onto McDonalds Canada website & submit a survey with the information from your receipt. That way corporate knows what restaurant you were at.

For corporate owned restaurants you can contact mickeyD's over the fone ( listed on web site). For franchisee outlets you have to contact store owner/manager. MickyD can tell whether the restaurant is corporate owned or franchisee from restaurant # listed on receipt. Basically if its franchised owned your SOOL as the owner can set the rules. Point blank.
If the glove don't fit you must acquit! #WINNING

I went to a McDonald's in Chateauguay, and they messed up my order yet again. It had been months since I last ate there and I could not believe it when I got home. I had ordered a double cheeseburger with no pickles but I got a McDouble with no pickles (good), no onions, no mustard, only 1 slice of cheese (supposed to be 2), barely any ketchup. It was so dry. Unfortunately, I only checked if my sandwich and fries were in the bag, I did not open to see if they really made a double cheeseburger... UGH.
Once I had gone there (drive-thru) with my family just to order a coffee with 2 milk 2 sugar and of course it turned out to be 2 cream 2 sugar. At least they could not say they were not wrong on that one!

I know it's easy to forget and assume one's order is correct, but you even if your order isn't custom made, there's a good chance it'll be screwed up. Always check the order on the side of the counter. I usually avoid drive-thru because that's harder to notice.

I am pretty anal about my fries. I always check they're not dry and ensure they're topped up (they're usually not) and have them do so when they just hastily place the fries in it's container.

lol. I McDonald's has been around in Canada since the mid 60s. I wonder if this thread will be around in another 40 years.

I think someone started a fresh new thread not long ago and the mods merged it into this thread.

Today I was having lunch @ McDonald's. I ordered 2 Filet-O-Fish (Fri McDeal), including tax should be $3.62. So as usual, I gave the cashier $20.02 cuz I don't want more pennies.

But then I see the cash register said change: 16.38 I thought maybe she just punched in 20 (which sometimes they do). But when I started seeing her counting me 3 pannies, I know this is wrong. I told her I gave her 20 dollar and 2 pennies. and she said no I didn't. I was surprised by her short term memory! I gave her the $20 bill and put 2 pennies on top of it. How could she said no! Meanwhile people around me give me a weird look and she make it sounds like I am trying to rip her off for just 2 pennies! Holy smoke! Then the team leader passed by and he opened up the drawer and gave me 2 cents back.

But then, the damage has done. I was in a good mood before I go in. So when I get home, and want to see if there is atleast a way I can send a e-mail to the head office to provide them some feedback. Afterall I don't really mean to get her into touble, people make mistake sometimes, esp during busy lunch hour. And all I found is this

http://www.mcdonalds.ca/en/contact.aspx

So, I decided to give Customer Relationship a call. And none of the options via voice prompt really fits what I wanted to talk about. So I waited and pressed '0'. I asked the girl if I wanted to provide feedback, if she is the right person to speak to, and she said yes. So I told her my story. At the end she said she will send a report to the store owner. I said I didn't mean to get anyone into trouble, but she said she has to submit the report. (no wonder I hear she type while I am talking)

Oh well...

For me is this is just 2 cents (in fact technically speaking they gave me back on the spot afterwards) But I know some of you may get upset by McDonald's some other ways, and if you wanted to complains, this is the # to call (during office hour)
