WANTED: Mobile Application Test Engineer

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic engineer with interest and understanding of the telecommunication technologies for TDMA/CDMA/GSM handsets and wireless devices.

As a Mobile Application Tester, he/she will execute and report specific test plans and test cases for cellular phones.


Responsibilities:

Conduct and ensure the execution of comprehensive system determination and acquisition testing on handsets, which includes tests on mobile applications such as SMS, IM, Mobile TV and Radio, Music, Games, Web access and downloads, and GPS.
Experience in J2ME development and debugging.
Identify, report and track issues to resolution.
Assess design quality, reliability, maintainability and functionality.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in working with cellular phones.
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong desire to learn and work in a fast-paced and often changing environment.

Do you have any business management with IT management positions available? Lots of wireless experience along with strong knowledge of Wireless technologies (was just offered a consultant position at a wireless consultation company) and strong presentational skills.
