In January Bestbuy had the french version of the acer 5630 for 799. I was able to PM the english version by phone, apply four coupons, so I got it for 719 plus tax. It also included a canon all in one that came free after mail in rebate. Just waiting for my free Vista Premium upgrade to arrive. Nice laptop!

any one who thaught origial deal is "HOT"
is a tool, and a fool. the staples ad,is fo tottally diff laptop that is on clearance which was once sold for 799 as sum guy mentione.
it is not the same cuz one has vista and one has XP.
also u cant pm cuz they dont have stock, i think its sum stores ploicy

I only used two coupons for final price of ($740 + $5) x 1.06 = $789.70. You paid $719 + 7% + 7% = $819.66.

I sold the AS5630 after a month. Now I just ordered the Thinkpad Z61t for $999. Reg. $2269.

Yeah, you guys in Alberta get a good deal with the tax break. I also saved an additional 100 bucks by doing a return to store and buy back using discounted gift cards . Good deal on the thinkpad!
