[Future Shop] (WARM?) ASUS K55A 15.6" Laptop - i7-3630QM / 750GB HDD / 6GB RAM / Windows 8/ 699$

I'm shopping for good deals on i7 quad core computers and I came across this and though still falls short of the kind I want to buy, it's a decent deal so I thought to share it. Note it comes with two years warranty.

Is Intel HD Graphics 4000 is a good graphic card?

Oh, okay then, sorry about that, had thought it was a decent deal which is why I posted, but wasn't aware it was hundred bucks or cheaper in the past. It's like the other day I was at Dell.ca for their business days of deals thingy, and I had thought I had found a good quad i7 laptop deal but when I googled it some more, I realized it had been almost fifty bucks cheaper back in early December last year. Yet when I had spoken to their online sales person earlier, they had acted as if it had never been cheaper and that there was no room for any kind of discount.

Not a good deal at all. Lenovo Y-series 14" is selling for 750$ with much better specs and discrete graphics.

I bought R series Asus with slightly better specs in first week of this month on sale for 599.99$
http://www.bestbuy.ca//en-CA/product/as ... 27302.aspx
Although I returned it and bought the refurbished Lenovo P580 i5 for 380$.
If you do not need a laptop immediately, I will suggest to wait for a better deal. I would consider less than 600$ a good deal for this laptop.

Thanks, great info.

Just a minor issue, the 750$ Lenovo deals are for i5 not i7. The Asus however would have been great (despite the fact that it's one year warranty and not two) but sold out online even at 599$.

The first link shows 3 laptops priced at $749, $749 and $849. They are all i7.

Ah, my mistake.

The 1st laptop at i7 is $769. Not much of a leap.
