Warm?? Coin op car wash $2 for 6 minutes
Location: Discount car rental @ Mccowan and hwy 7 ( east of mccowan )
I went to spray off my car after my oil change and found out it gave me 6 minutes of car wash with 2 bucks. Not sure if its only my station that gives 6 minutes because the guy beside me left pretty quickly.
I thought it was a decent deal.

I've been to many $2 ones.
Some have great options and booths are very nice and it's 3 minutes.
Been to really crusty ones with only water and soap options and it's also 3 minutes.
$2 for 6 minutes is a good deal
I'd say at least warm deal depending on the type of car wash options it has and quality...

I've been there many times in the past and am quite certain that for $2 you only get about 3mins...shall try again though to see.

The $1 for 3 minutes deal is only good from Mon-Wed 7am-11am. Also, the last time I was there, 3 out of the 5 bays didn't work and I wasted $4 for nothing

$2 for 6 minutes, for machines that work, is a good deal.
But I bought the Petro-Canada carwash card, 90 days for $139+tax. Will begin to use it in late Dec. I know it doesn't wash as well as if you do the brush/spray yourself, but it'll take at least 6min to do a good wash. So the Petro-Canada deal is actually not too bad. I have 2 vehicles, and will be sharing with friends/relatives.

If you collect Air Miles, redeeming AM for car washes at Shell is also a really good deal. Their ultimate wash normally costs $12 each + tax, with a minimum $25 dollar fill-up. On the other hand, 75 AM will get you two washes (if you're pedantic, one AM is then worth at least 30 cents, three times the value of redeeming AM for gas), which you can then use at your convenience, without even having to buy gas when you wash your car. As much as I prefer handwashing, it's just impossible in the winter, and using AM saves me a ton of money vs. paying for them out of pocket.

On the topic of car wash deals, the one near IKEA on Shepard Ave East (just west of Leslie, beside McDonalds), is a great value for $5 including tax. It used to be a Petro Canada (now an independent). There's no need to buy any gas. They have the soft brushes and cleans very well in my opinion.

I went there before. Definitely not $2 for 6 mins. I bet you got lucky. Once I was at one station and it gave endless water for $2! Did a good 10 mins wash and the guy after me did it for free!

On the topic of car wash deals, when you purchase a Sunoco car wash gift card, you receive 10 car washes for the price of seven.

Definitely not $2 for 6 mins. I went there on friday around 12 noon. I had to put $5!!! I was upset because I could've got much better wash from popular gas stations.

No offence but why on earth would you go on a Friday and whined about it when me, boredstudent3, and op (a follow-up reply) mentioned that the deal is only good from Monday-Wednesday from 7am-11am?
