Warm: EXPC.CA (GVRD Only)
I was looking for some computer parts and didn't want to wait for NCIX's weekly sale, as some of NCIX's regular prices aren't very competitive anymore.
A friend of mine recommended http://www.expc.ca.
The prices were warm/average (not hot), but I got what I needed today instead of waiting for another sale. As, a bonus they're were open today (Sundays).
Don't know what they charge for shipping, so I guess this is only warm for those who are located in the GVRD (local pickup).
BTW: I'm not giving them a plug, just haven't been happy with NCIX's pricing recently; I thought I just share this recent find.

A computer store thats open on Sundays. Thats a nice change of pace. Havn't checked their prices yet.
I would be ironic if we somehow found out its also owned by ncix like the multitude of other "stores".

Newbie
Been to thier shop in Burnaby. The worst service i have ever experienced.... My friend asked for a upgrade recommendation, and a sales sold my friend a CPU and a MB that wouldn't even match together. When we went back to the shop and asked for a exchange, the sales insisted to charge us a "restocking fee" of 10% or so....

no is not owned by ncix but is indeed a name change from CanPC.ca, they change name because they got sued of a boxing day deal, 1 qty of a really good deal monitor, and the guy was the first one to be in the line, and they said not available to sold out already. so that is how expc.ca came along, expc is also available close to lougheed town center too (but mainly serving the korean community, and offers systems with pirvated software with system purchase)
service wasn't that great, lady in the memory department, guy in the motherboard/hdd department, the guy plays computer games all the time, didn't care when i walked in, competitive pricing thou due to the whole hallway is backed with other computer stores as well, and places that will mod your consoles as well...

+1 for Open Sundays!
Previously had to resort to FS/BB/LD/OD/Staples for computer parts on Sundays.

EXPC use to be CanPC. They started something like 2002 or 2003 with their Crystal Mall location. The change to EXPC and the opening of the Broadway location is obviously to compete with NCIX, Anitec and other better know GVR stores.
