go for the TYTN - it's a much better phone if you're looking for PDA functionality, mainly due to the larger screen, and keyboard making it easier to use. It's got all that the ipaq has, and more. Only drawback I can see is if you want a smaller phone.
$100 is a great price for the TYTN - guess they are trying to clear it out before they release the TYTN II. Which location was offering this to you, and what plan would you have to go for to get it.

Hey my contract is up for renewal and when looking at the new phones offered by Rogers best one in my price range/needs was the HTC Tyyn (Titan). Anyone know how the titan compares to the ipaq? I was offered it for $100 w/ 3 yr contract so seems more worthwhile than getting an unlocked phone.
Thoughts?

with smartphones, you have to be careful when using wifi... because once you loose the wifi signal, it will automatically default to edge - that's when you will be charged by your service provider. It's advisable to turn off edge before using wifi.
This happened to me before - fortunately, I only lost the signal for a split second, but incurred $16 bucks charge on like 30kb of data transfer.

It's through the consolidated customer relations. I have a corporate plan for $28 (after SAF and tax) includes 200 daytime, 1000 rogers to rogers, evenings after 8pm and weekends unlimited, I had a $10 package for text messaging, voicemail and caller ID, but through negotiating they have offered to take off the charge of $10 so my monthly bill would be only $28.

I received mine yesterday but realized that the LCD is too small in size and res for what I am doing, also it won't pair with my stowaway BT keyboard and finally I just didn't realize how much I wanted the stylus input if the keyboard does not work.
For those who missed the deal and like the phone for what it is, a glorified phone but not quite a PDA, I will pass it on for $260 to anyone who is willing to come and pick it up for that price (I have not even put in my SIM card yet so 0min) o/w it is going back to Staples for a full refund_______________
Is it really so hard to just be humble and nice? Turn the web around and it starts with you
