You can get the phone unlocked from Canada Computer for $499 (+ tax) or even less if you shop around. I think the cheapest I've seen it is $479-ish.
Any ways, I've had my w810 for over a month now I guess and I'm really happy with it.

WARM:
Sonystyle has the W810i (will ship after June 12) for $523 after the 5% coupon (RFDCJ229072) is applied to the $550 reg price.
Free shipping too.

People are asking this much used, and the grey market joints want about $600.
Rogers wants $499 without contract - but it is locked and branded. There is talk that the Roger's version won't have the Flash Lite theme support that makes the W810i in particular such a neat phone for theme creators.Last edited by lewdvig; May 27th, 2006 at 02:11 PM.

This phone is $450 @ markways and you can apply a $15 coupon and if you use EMT, an additional 12% (?) off.

yeah, I called around yesterday to find one locally and most people told me it had not been announced yet.
It was on the Rogers site for purchase.
I am hearing two weeks before the stores get stock. :^(
Plus the flash themes do not work...
So I will get one grey market or from Sony.

May 27th, 2006 11:40 AM #13How would that affect warranty? If the phone breaks, deal directly with SE for RMA. As long as the phone is sold as retail, manufacturer's warranty stands (to my knowledge).

The Rogers firmware disabled the really cool themes though, and it is locked.
For $488 I would rather have an unlocked and unbranded version.
