So I got this nasty wort on my foot, theres actually two of em by my big tow.
One is getting rather big and it hurts.

Do doctors still send you to the hospital to get that removed?
Is it covered by ohip?

I'm sure its covered by OHIP, but I'm not sure where you get warts removed. I have a friend that does this every 2-3 years.

Could you do me a huge favor and ask him for me please?

Warts on feet are covered because it is not purely cosmetic and can prevent you from walking well. Go to your doctor. They'll probably refer you to a dermatologist and they freeze it off with some liquid nitrogen stuff.

I had a wart once. They went at it with dry ice or liquid nitrogen IIRC at my family doctor's office.

I think it would make more sense for you to call your family doctor's office. The receptionist will direct you.

Plantar's warts are usually treated in the MD's office with Histofreeze. It's a liquid nitrogen canister with a foam tip applicator. It is covered by OHIP. It's not painless, but it's not terrible either. You will likely need multiple treatements (4-12) every two weeks or so to get rid of them. I've gone through this once last year.

I only needed 1 treatment to kill the wart on my foot with the liquid nitrogen, so I dunno. I do recall it hurting like an SOB though. Then again I was like 12.

You can pick up some wart remover from a pharmacy over the counter.... It's a type of acid, I used it for one on my finger once and it did the trick quite well.

Keep in mind though it is acid and should be kept away from children. I once applied some to the wart and it rolled down my finger. Needless to say a few layers of skin peeled in the following days.
