Washing Shower Curtain
Just wondering if we could wash the shower curtain (100% Polyester) in a washing machine ??
Thanks in advance for your comments.

No reason you can't, using cold or warm water (hot probably won't melt it, but might warp it a bit since it softens up the plastic). However, I find normal laundry detergent doesn't work well against soap scum, so soaking it in vinegar in a tub for an hour, then washing it with normal dishwasher detergent to get rid of the vinegar works very well. It's just stinky.
I find soaking in vinegar works better than detergents and chemical cleaners for soap scum and other bathroom/washroom organic residue on bathroom fixtures, etc., and I'm no tree-hugger. I would gladly use Comet or Fantasik, etc. if it worked better, but it doesn't in most cases.
For cotton shower curtains, I put that in the laundry like any piece of clothing.

Dollar stores have disposable shower curtains if you don't feel like cleaning them.
